@ceramicsteve: I would expect you'd need club access and to be allowed in a club to play on a private club server. You'd only need standard access to play on a public club server.
Took me about 30 minutes of watching a stream on Twitch to get the invite. It's like Apex, but the map is a dense cityscape, and it has some very cool new ideas in the well-worn battle royale genre.
@meatsofevil: from what i've read on either the subreddit or official discord (can't remember which), you can buy a year of Club and they'd transfer your standard to 4 extra months of Club, so you'd get 1.33 years of Club at that point. I find Ubisoft has responsive customer service, so you could reach out to them to ask if you do want to switch to Club and want to make certain what I say is true (I'm just taking the word of strangers online to be true).
For my personal setup, Stadia is the best way for me to play games (not counting Switch). I can play anywhere in my house or yard on my Chromebook, without any bit of perceivable latency, in a much higher graphical fidelity than playing on my aging 8+ year old PC (except for my upgraded GTX 1060). I have a PS4 Pro, but the fans are a jet engine, so I hate even turning that thing on except when I want to play COD:MW.
Stadia is the future, and hopefully haters stop being so salty and give it a try.
I picked it up on Switch. I'm only a couple hours in, so I don't know how the structure changes, if any, but I can tell you that there are lots of upgrades based on how quick you can deliver products during that phase. One of the upgrades is to remove fixed pillars in the warehouse, which opens it up a lot. There's no game overs, it just keeps plodding along even if you screw everything up. It's a pretty chill game, which is most often what I am looking for in my games. Also, I find the controls on Switch work pretty well.
Nintendo just added Joy Mecha Fight to the Family Computer (Famicom) Nintendo Switch Online app. I was only vaguely aware of it from Sukapon being in Smash Bros, but I fired it up this morning and it seems fun. I think it would rank higher than at least Fight Club.
If you weren’t aware, you can download the Famicom app by creating a separate Japanese Nintendo account for your Switch. You then use that profile to launch the Japanese eShop, where you can then find the Famicom app and download it. You then need to be a member of Nintendo Switch Online using your primary account on your Switch, and launch the Famicom app from that account (not your Japanese account). Of course, if your primary account on Switch is a Japanese-based account, then I apologize for all that blabbering above. At least you can do the inverse of what I just said to get the Nintendo Entertainment System app.
