If i'm meeting someone new then no, i avoid religion or politics. With close friends or girlfriends i'll prob bring it up. With girlfriends especially, its important to know their opinions of these types of thing. Maybe less so with some kind of fiscal issue but if i found out a girl i liked thought gay marriage should be banned and her only argument to support this belief was "cause god said so" then i know i won't be able to have a deep relationship with this person.
Star wars was worse. I thought the first transformers was kinda enjoyable but the second one made me mad with how bad it was. Episodes 1-3 were all kind of terrible and i had a much higher expectation out of them.
Eh, not really. I've been pretty good with my diet but sometimes i still eat stuff thats bad for me. I also have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week pretty regularly but i should be getting more exercise. If you gave an "eh, i'm in alright shape" i would have picked that.
Mortal Kombat will be $40 starting on the 1st at Toys r us. There will be a coupon in the toys r us brand gamer magazine/circular for $10 that should be able to be applied as well. The circular is supposed to be around the electronics department or near customer service. YMMV on the store having the coupon.
Ok, ignore my previous post, i just got called and offered the job. Its a full time job for the county so the benefits should be good and the pay is better than expected. I start this monday, i'm so pumped. Good to see things going well from the giantbomb community.
I was actually planning on making a topic with pretty much the same title yesterday. I had an interview for a pretty good job, found out the pay was 12k more than i expected, i was told that they really liked me and that i pretty much had the job...and then i didn't get it. Still, just getting that glimpse of hope after 4 months of rejections felt really good and rejuvenated my motivation to keep plugging away at the job hunting. I did get a call about a seasonal job at home depot, hopefully i'll be able to get that at least.
When i was going to college i had pretty good summer jobs so i always had a good amount of pocket money but between work and classes i didn't really have enough time. Now that i graduated but can't find a job i have infinite time but no money to buy games. The good thing is i still have a ton of games i bought on steam sales that i need to work through...i still need to finish mass effect 2...i'm a bad person.
