Bethesda games haven't really evolved since Morrowwind. It's kinda natural that people are starting to get tired of the same games in the same big, boring and broken worlds. Its almost been 10 years since Oblivion came out and since then open world games have evolved and become far better then that design blueprint.

Was on 4chan the day they were doing the first all day Kinect stream and it was randomly posted on 4chan so I decided to give it a try as I love watching people play games(despite most streamers/lpers being terrible and annoying) and was interested in seeing the clusterfuck that was Kinect.

Anyway tuned in to see the stream, saw rider meet horse, horse meet rider and was hooked.

I would hope the sales figures are better in America and the rest of Europe but its a shame to see these lowish numbers.

As many have pointed out its probably Squares fault for releasing it in between Battlefront and Fallout4, despite being a better game then both of them it was never going to sell close to them

I think it's more outdated then anything, but I thought Skyrim was even outdated so I'm not surprised more and more people are thinking the same way.

As for the bugs they suck but I think most people who enjoy the game can power through them as long as there's nothing game breaking, not that this excuses them. You'd hope being 2015 Bethesda will be on it with Patches, would be inexcusable otherwise, but that remains to be seen.

This is great news. I would love to see a continuation of Max and Chloe's story as by the end of that game I fucking loved these 2 characters and their relationship, enough to let the whole town die. However I know with multiple endings that its not really possible to continue their story. It makes me wish dontnod didn't end the game the way they did, although thats only because I loved all the characters, the town and the high school/college setting so it'll be super interesting to see where they set it next time. Super excited for it.

Yeah it looks pretty darn thin. The more I hear/see of this game the less I'm interested in it. To be fair though the lack of guns isn't that much of a killer, I think its the lack of a single player campaign and lack of classes.

@jeffrud: I have loved Goldust since his debut but that's way to far fetched. Goldust probably has one short run left in him and it should be used to bring Cody back. Cody is the Rhodes family member that has all the talent to be elevated to the upper card. He's deserved it for years as well.

Anyway, feel super bad for Rollins and WWE. They are super fucked at the moment:

  • Cena is on Holiday
  • Seth is broken
  • Bryan is injured.
  • Orton is injured
  • Punk is long gone
  • Brock is on his 2-3 month Hiatus
  • Batista is a movie star
  • Wyatt is involved with Taker and Kane.
  • Reigns isn't good enough.

The good thing is that this is finally the chance we have waited for them to elevate and build some top tier stars they have desperately needed. There are huge gaps at the moment so I'd expect them to be filled with Ambrose, Cesaro, Sheamus and Owens. I'd also like to see them use Barret (dude is the total package) and Cody (as I said above) but Vince seems so against them. I think Bryan could save this situation if he made a comeback but again seems unlikely.

I skipped Unity because it looked like a boring, buggy and broken mess so I'm hoping it'll help in my enjoyment of Syndicate as I have less fatigue (only played 10 hours of Black Flag which seemed great but a mess on PC, so its been years since last played an AC game)

Bought it thanks to reviews and will be playing it tonight in hopes its decent.

I tried getting into Fallout 3 and NV but neither grabbed me, despite loving Oblivion. Then Skyrim came along and has pretty much killed any enthusiasm for Fallout or Elder Scrolls games. I'll maybe give it a shot if reviews are through the roof but Skyrim was such a disappointment I don't think I'll be into it.

It's kinda weird how split this community is between the two games. I personally love them both, although I probably like Witcher 3 slightly more then MGS5. I found Dan's comments on the bombcast and twitter to be super grating about The Witcher 3, but that's usually how Dan is about most things. I hope one of them at least finishes the Witcher 3 before GOTY but it seems pretty doubtful.

Anyway as for why I prefer Witcher is because I really enjoy every aspect of that game. The combat, quest design and open world are pretty awesome. However its the story and characters that are just beyond anything I've ever played. It even manages to get pretty emotional which may be a first for me in gaming.
