@gundato: I have to disagree completely. First off this is a pre-record video and audio, so I think maybe Abby should should spent 5 minutes on google before recording. Clearly she has thoughts on the subject and she knew she was going to record this audio, maybe she should have clarified her thoughts ahead of time. This isn't podcast where topic suddenly change and someone said something they weren't 100% about.
Just don't open most crates. I don't get the complaint? This is likely on of the first levels in the game and they're shocked that every gun isn't better than the last. Most of the stuff you pick up is trash, same as most games. Usually you only get useful guns from bosses. I am excited for borderlands, despite this video trying to crush everyone's spirit.
I also don't get the complaint about menu, its like you have to change everything just cause you have new game. Here are stats on new gun vs old gun, red worse green better. I don't know why people wouldn't like this its very easy and clear to see which gun is better.
the funniest things to me was how many times they would everyone else than say ok its Zanes turn, oh and he has holotargeting. They almost never used the holotargeting and than complained about missing shots. I recall having much harder time with last fight, maybe I should have taken Dan's strategy.
as someone with poor vision this game is impossible to read or tell what is going on. Luckily this game looks terrible so I have no interest in playing but I fully understand what Jason was talking about. The text in cut scene was difficult to read cause writing and background all blend together. The text during mission was even worse, it was so small I could barely see it. I can not understand how we haven't gotten to the point where we can have great universal subtitles yet. I would say just one more reason ot to play but nothing here interests me.
I do not really get any great idea of this game from clip. Is this just 3rd person shooter? destiny followup? I think just the first four minutes of mission would have given better idea of what game was about. As this is the same bits from EA presser, I will also assume its the demo level. Hopefully some of Gb crew get their hands on it and can tell us more about it. Or will it just be video demo?
I wish Ql had death in it. If this game is rogue-something than one of the most important parts is what happens when you die and restart. Dan tried to explain it, but didn't seem 100% on how it worked. Maybe its cause I'm interested in the game that I wish there was more info given on how game actually works.
a couple times during QL they despairingly pointed out that they're charging money for stuff in game. I don't see what the problem is with that. The game is free right? nothing you buy makes a difference right? How do people expect them to make money? There are some people out there with lots of disposable money I think its smart to open up paths for them, to give you some of it. If the company takes in no money they will have a shorter life. If foolish people buy clothes from them and they make some money they will have more time to continue working on game. If people like the game they may buy something to help support team.
It also looked like you could buy same stuff with in game currency too and different amount, that's great. I don't know if that's true for everything or not.
I do like dynasty warriors. All this QL did though was make me go throw my copy of Xtreme legends dynasty warriors 8 Complete edition. So at some point in the future I'll upgrade to nine. I did have a thought of laziness though were if I bought the new one digitally I wouldn't have to get up.
