The 9/10 review from Games TM is up. *waits for the complaints it didn't get a 10*

Great review though, read a lot better than the EDGE review and they pretty much say it's honed to perfection with the exception of a rather tedious first hour or so.

But the most important and outstanding truth about Skyward Sword is that it does so much more besides. And that so much more is original, dynamic and, most thrillingly, a true progression for the series, even while this instalment delights in steeping itself so much in its past glories.

That right there raises my excitement levels a fair bit. I've been a big fan of Zelda since LttP but the formula was growing a bit tired for me, so if it really is as they say, I can't wait.

@Toms115: Opinions, huh? Damn them!

What's scary for one person is nothing to another.

Has Defcon had a mention yet? The whole concept of that game is so incredibly dark and gritty. Nuking an entire country with just the silence of the bunker you're in, the beeping of the machines you're using, the death toll slowly creeping up, the bleak realisation you've just killed millions of people with the press of a button.

Grim and terrifying, for very different reasons to the usual 'scary' games that get mentioned.

The bathtub scene in Eternal Darkness was pretty terrifying the first time.

I may have dropped my controller at the time.

I'd have to go with the hotel from Vampire: The Masquerade too. I was so into that game but that section just came out of nowhere really. Nothing before it had been scary, or nerve-wracking. The game had been atmospheric, but stepping into that place and then when stuff started happening and the story unfolded it was genuinely terrifying.

Definitely time for another playthrough of that game I think.

How many of you have read the Post Script after the review in EDGE? Just me who found it an infinitely better read than the review itself?

Would be nice if they could fix the god awful frame rate drops in Blighttown and other places.

Any tips for The Luge challenge level would be appreciated. Getting to the bosses isn't a problem at all, but the bosses themselves destroy me before I even take one of them down! There's just too many bullets for a bullet hell newcomer like me! I guess practice, practice, practice is best tip?

Using the Gunner ship by the way.

Don't forget the challenge mode too which (for me at least) is incredibly... um, challenging. I've just got The Luge challenge left to do before I can unlock the 5th set of challenge levels and it's bloody tough. Two bosses at once, actual bullet hell. :D
