@rasrimra: None of your examples are "ook" words, which in my experience with the english language changes the way in which the "oo" is pronounced. Book. Look. Took. Rook. Shook. Hook. Cook.
Where do you come from that this not the case? I mean its fine if it's a local preference in how to pronounce the name, but I get where Jeff and Dan are coming from.
Valkyria Chronicles (1) was such a well done game and became one of my all time favorites in short order when it came out on PS3. I bought it again when it released on Steam because I thought it would help inform Sega that there is a demand for more of the same. What I didn't want was another port and a spin-off. Give me a proper VC game on current gen, Sega!
@dudeglove: That's just like, your opinion, man! I think Spaceballs is still incredibly funny. Unless movies like Star Wars and Planet of the Apes become unknown, I don't really see the humor aging out, either.
e: And even if the referential stuff loses power over time, the physical and situational gags are timeless and many and some of Mel Brooks' best work.
Playing as twin assassins is kinda cool, but I'm having trouble getting interested in this game. I feel like AC is in need of another serious formula change. It's just all the same every time.
