I think it'll land in the low 80s, maybe slip into the 70s. Doubtful that it's gets many "perfect" scores but it'll probably get enough 9's to stay in the "green."
Hopefully we get another single-player Metroid but I wouldn't hold my breath. Metroid doesn't sell as well as it should and Nintendo doesn't seem to think too highly of the series. I would love to play another 2D Metroid or even a remake of Super Metroid or Metroid Fusion.
Hey, unfortunately Roy's Boys has reached capacity (darn that 10-person limit). If someone wants to start a second GB crew, we could have some friendly (or not-so-friendly?) competitions between the two crews.
Someone had created a GIANT BOMB DOT COM group but I don't think it was anybody in this thread and they haven't accepted my request to join so I've created a Roy's Boys crew. Sent requests to everyone that posted their gamertag in the thread so far.
I'd be interested in a GB crew. I'm the only one of my friends that's still way into Rock Band. I'm on Xbox One and my gamertag is spike58. I could even start the crew when I get my pre-order tonight if there's any interest.
Vagrant and Pulse are my go-to's but I'll stop at Block for DMX and Run-DMC. I was really excited for the Groove integration, even if it's only for the 2 week trial, but not having it shuffle makes it useless. Hundreds of songs in my playlist and I'll only hear the first handful over and over again.
I get wanting to change from the very simplistic style of the original game but this is just not good. I think they're going for some kind of grotesque body horror aesthetic but it's just flat out ugly.
Personally, I like turn-based systems more than real-time systems. I tend to be more analytical and slow-paced and can sometimes get overwhelmed by real-time systems. It's why I'm way more into XCOM or Fire Emblem over something like Starcraft. An offshoot of the Persona/SMT games that uses a real-time battle system would be cool but they should keep the mainline series turn-based.
Dota 2. A friend of mine sent me a beta code even though I told him I had zero interest in playing. I messed around with the tutorial but still didn't really see the appeal. Then Brad started the Daily Dota stuff and I found a group of duders to play with. 3+ years, 2000+ hours, and I don't even want to know how much hat money, and I'm still playing the game almost daily.
