This is a bummer. I'm primarily a Sony platform player this generation and I was really looking forward to getting to mess around with mods on the PS4.

Sony is making a mistake here. I'll be buying SkyrimHD on my Xbox 1 instead - I'll probably get a new copy of Fallout 4 for that system too.

I'm going to second Final Fantasy 14. Good story and you aren't forced to group up much until very late game, and peeps are pretty good about helping (using pug group finder there are significant bonuses for having a newbie in group).

I resub a couple times a year to follow the expanding storyline. Both main game and Heavensward expansion have satisfying endings before credits roll (imho). Endgame storylines are fun too.

Sounds like your daughter really bonded with the dog - so I would get her another one. I'd let your daughter name it. Good luck!

Congrats on the Platinum! Demon Souls/Dark Souls and DS2 and Bloodborne are the Platinums I am personally the most proud of. I'm on the journey for the DS3.

I've been watching Two Best Friend's play through of Parasite Eve on Youtube. Not as good as the best Endurance Runs, but pretty funny.

Darks Souls followed closely by Demon Souls for me.

I do feel that the Scholar of the First Sin version of Dark Souls 2 improved the game considerably. Some of those DLC areas were great.

Loved Demon Souls (my first) played it several times. However, Dark Souls 1 was simply the best game I have played.

Rising. I think Dan would enjoy playing it, and it would be entertaining to watch.

I was planning on buying a second PS4 for my kids anyway, so upgrading and giving them the hand me down old system is appealing to me.

Not a typical situation, but it's where I'm at.

I'm on full blackout mode until release date. Gbeast stream of game was awesome, but next time I spend any real time with DS3 I will be playing it.
