FF14 - good story and a fun world. Can play it with a controller as well (I use keyboard for chat). I'm on PS4 and I appreciate that they allow cross platform with PC players.

Thrilled Dan Ryckert is doing a play through. Souls are my favorite games of all time. Dan should summon as much as he wants to in order to finish this awesome game. I just hope he finds (or is guided to) the optional / hidden areas. Painted World FTW. I hope that the DLC gets a look too.

I purposefully focused on filling the huge JRPG shaped void in my gaming history. Began this about 18 months ago.

Played and finished FF10, FF6, Xenogears. Loved these games!

Just started FF7 on PS4 and I am enjoying the heck out of it.

Played several of the Ys games.

Nice side effect of this endeavor is I am actually using my Vita!

My copy arrived from Amazon today! Only about 15 missions in but so far it is a blast on the Vita. Frame rate seems pretty good so far. Voice work is perfectly over the top (most npc statements end with a death scream). I have a long trip with the family so I picked this up before 4.1, which also released.

If you don't dig EDF games then avoid like the plague...it seems very similar to EDF 2017. If you don't know what EDF games are all about there are some fun videos on YouTube.

EDF games are my all time favorite podcast/audible games. I enjoy the weapon and armor grind and the at times frantic pace. I also love figuring out which levels you can abuse the mechanics on- allowing you to play higher difficulty for better weapon drops.

It looks like there is co-op and pvp as well. Three classes: Ranger, Air Raider, and Pale Wing.

Demon Souls and Dark Souls 1 and 2.

FF14 keeps pulling me back again and again...I've re-subbed a couple times now.

Skyrim and Oblivion and Morrowind were each more than 3 year long obsessions for me. I still mess around with them each every couple months (instant nostalgia and relaxation when I do)

I used stealth and non-lethal weapons as much as possible on my play through, so watching Drew's 80's Action Movie Techniques is pretty entertaining.

I like physical copies - but I'm an old fart with a lot of living space - and internet that's a bit underwhelming.

Go with what's cheaper.

Extremely excited! Fallout 3 and New Vegas are 2 of my favorite games. Day 1 buy and I'm keeping that first weekend as open as possible.
