  • The most richly immersive experience I had this year. Excellent shooting, atmosphere, and attention to detail. Unfortunately I thought a lot of the dialogue scenes on the train dragged and weren't as effective as they could have been.

  • I played this at launch and fucking sucked at it, then put it down for about six months. I came back to it in November, everything clicked and I sailed through it. It's great to know that FromSoft can deviate from the tried and true Souls formula and still make something incredibly demanding and compelling.

  • The best third person shooter of the year. Makes Gears 5 look like a pile of old shit (which it is).

  • A surprisingly good mashup of familiar genres that stumbles a bit on the technical side. I hope this sells well because a sequel with more polish could be truly fantastic.

  • Mostly worth the wait! I wish the story had ended completely at the end of Chapter 6, but I guess you can't have everything.

  • Great game but I'm shit at it.

  • Not really the best Roguelite in the world but in all other aspects it really hits the mark.

  • I've realised that I don't actually like Symphony of the Night styled Castlevania games all that much, but this game is undeniably great.

  • Loved Leon's weapons, hated Leon. Hated Claire's weapons, loved Claire. If the remake of RE3 focuses on one campaign then I will eat that up with a knife and fork.

  • It's an open world game that isn't bloated and I beat it in like 12 hours! Truly remarkable in this market where "games that you play forever" are currently all the rage.
