Huh, more weird stuff with Remedy. Definitely worth playing if anyone hasn't and is interested.

It'll probably take a few listens before I really get into it but I agree that it feels unfocused. I like The Apprentice and Andromeda but nothing else sticks out at me the way Demon Days of Plastic Beach did (or the original album for that matter). Gorillaz albums always have songs I don't feel strongly about but usually work well when listening to the album as a whole. This one doesn't really have a clear contour to it that I've found and it doesn't feel as special as its predecessors.

One thing though, people wear their shoes inside the house? I thought it was a universal rule that you take shoes off when at home.

I'm pretty sure that's what he was talking about. It's in the west that people (sometimes) wear their shoes indoors. In the east, it's a huge no-no. In many restaurants and all schools and homes there are no outdoor shoes allowed!

What kind of barbarians wear shoes inside their own house? Is this an American thing?

My family pretty much never took our shoes off in the house unless we knew we were going to be inside for a while. We always were popping in and out (my dad always comes inside to check something on his computer then heads right back to the garage, my mom might do the same for the yard/garden). If we took our shoes off every time we entered we'd be putting them back on again 5 minutes later.

Zeno Clash 2. The first Zeno Clash is one of my favorite games of all time and when I first played 2 I stopped almost immediately because it just felt way off from the original. I did eventually return to it, and my opinion is a bit higher now because the story does go to some wild places, but it definitely isn't as strong as the first game.

I didn't go to my prom. I'm doing fine, so it can't be all that important...

Bulletstorm is great. While goofy, I think the story is surprisingly engaging and fun, and the shooting is good too. 50 bucks is too much for me, but I'd buy it on sale at some point.

I've played fairly casually since Naxramas. The first expansion I preordered was The Grand Tournament and I did the same for every one since. (Not buying Ungoro to save money, but I have enough gold saved to get just about as many packs.) Opening 50 packs at once is pretty fun, and it's nice to have a bunch of new cards to play with right off the bat. HOWEVER. While you do get quite a few new cards it won't really come close to completing the set. This is going to be especially true for this expansion I think since there are more legendary cards than usual. Specific epic cards are also pretty tough to pull, since they are pretty rare and there are a lot of them.

If you haven't bought any of the adventures, I would recommend those. The cards they had were often quite useful, and the single player challenges are also pretty great. League of Explorers is rotating to wild, but it had such great cards that it might still be worth getting just to have them for wild or Tavern Brawls.

I don't regret preordering in the past but know that if you do you're just getting a solid place to start in the new expansion, and will still have a ways to go to get all the cards you might want. If you have 50 bucks you don't mind spending and know what you're in for, then go for it! Otherwise, you might just want to grind it out. There are also daily rewards that give packs for logging in up to release, so if you just log in from today onward you can get a couple packs for free.

You can check out this website that simulates opening packs. Pretty nice for getting a sense of what you'll get.

Sorry for the jumbled response!

If you like adventure games then I would highly recommend Botanicula or Samorost 3 by Amanita Design. Point and click controls, no dialogue (but fun stories), and great art and music. The puzzles aren't too hard and there's a good hint system too.
