Discs are often cheaper, I can lend them to my friends (who reciprocate the favor), and if it's something I'm not planning on replaying I can sell it. I was all digital for a couple years which is great for space but now I wish I could do something with those games instead of having them just sitting on a hard drive.
First thing you're going to need to do is put that new 2TB drive into the PS4 Pro, here is a video guide to run you through the process: https://youtu.be/lmjOPZwSQ84
After you install the new drive there's a couple ways you can get your data from the old PS4 to the new Pro. This digital foundry video runs through the options: https://youtu.be/etQ_fMi33O4
You can either backup your current PS4 to the 2TB external drive you currently have, then hook it up to your Pro and restore the backup, or you can use the LAN transfer.
I couldn't get it to run for more than 15 seconds at a time before it would crash on me.
Was running the recent driver (388.13); my system has a i7-4770K, GTX 1060, and 16GB RAM so I thought I was good on the specs. Keeping an eye on the news for this because although I really want to play it I straight up can't for now.
