I played it solo for a bit. Not sure why I had to vote on what voyage I wanted to do by myself but I had to look up how to even start a voyage online. Though the small ship is really well designed for solo and fun to tool around in.

I found a message in a bottle and that seemed super cool until finding out that it was a missions to collect ONE HUNDRED bananas in a crate and deliver it to a port in a certain time frame. No thanks I'm good. The merchant missions seem like bunk.

I did a few treasure chest maps. They seemed fine I guess. The constant skeletons spawning while you look around the island is annoying. It should probably be fun but the sword combat kinda sucks.

At some point I saw a sick looking skull in the clouds with green lightning lighting up the eyes so I decided to head that way. After a pretty long voyage it landed me at an encampment that already had a full crew doing the live quest there. Initially they fired on me but we came to an understanding about my friendly nature and we all just killed a ton of skeletons until the game said that was enough and unlocked a door to some chests. Being the solo dude against the full crew meant none of those chests were mine. It was cool to see that the game had events though.

I can't imagine feeling good about paying $60 for this game. Unless there is way more variety and gameplay they aren't talking about then this thing is going to fall off hard. I'll probably do the free gamepass introduction to mess with it a bit and move on.

Overall the whole Plus thing just seems to kind of suck including features outside the analytics.

Right now the analytics stuff gives really bad advice but I'm sure it will get better but even then it sucks to see this kind of stuff being developed and then put behind a paywall. If you're going to do it, make it accessible to every player. I'm not sure I want it there at all though. An in-game guide that changes through the game to tell you what skills to go with and items to build is way less satisfying to me than reading how the game is going and how it will play out and doing something unconventional that has a huge impact.

I'm just so underwhelmed by this plus thing in just about every way.

It's a shame because that's a really great name for a feature.

It's one of the better superhero movies for sure. The world and characters were great. The action was pretty typical super hero movie stuff and has your expected flow. I enjoy when a movie doesn't waste time explaining why a female character is strong/important.

Marvel needs to stop killing their villains because Killgore might be the best one they've had. Kind of like Homecoming's Vulture where you're like 'yeah dude I get where you're coming from' but way better. And Black Panther had to confront and struggle with what Killgore was saying. They were both thrown into the situation.

Still not sure about that "WHAT ARE THOSE" line. It does kind of suffer from the same thing as the last Star Wars movie where the writer wants to touch on a bunch of things but you only have so much time for the movie. They have a quick line where somebody in the council says "Wakanda needs a leader not a soldier." which is meant to address the part where dude immediately leaves to run a mission after being officially given the throne.

It left me wanting to see more which will probably just result in me reading The Rise of the Black Panther run which I understand is during the first year after Wakanda revealing itself. The group heading the comic up is very promising.

I keep waiting for this comic book movie trend to end but it does seem like the movies are genuinely getting better. I guess that happens now that you don't have to worry about spending time introducing characters and concepts and trying to win over audiences. The genre is set and stable, now they can let writers/directors play with it.

I feel like the next Avengers movie has a good chance of being a train wreck though. My goodness that's a lot of characters/actors to work with.

The progress save when switching between devices has never worked for me. I asked about it when they first rolled it out and nothing really happened. I figured they just scrapped the idea.
