I had never heard of that Gundam game before, but having grown up through the SNES area, i'm objectively impressed with that game. Considering what that system was capable of it seems pretty complicated relative to most the trash the scientists have had to suffer before.
Vinny says Bando Namkai at one point, and I'm glad it's not just me that accidentally says that sometimes.
I think he's been doing that for the entire history of the site. I remember one Quick Look where he did it and whoever was co-hosting with him was like "I can't even tell if it's intentional or not at this point" (i'm almost definitely paraphrasing here).
Since everyone and their cat is throwing their 2 cents into this here are mine:
- If you put something on twitter on a public account with lots of followers there is going to be a response. You can't have it both ways by leveraging your following for outreach and then be upset if that outreach isn't what you wanted it to be.
That is the only thing I wanted to say as well. Abby made a strange "she wasn't looking for feedback" comment in reference to the twitter posts that started the whole incident. If you're not looking for feedback on this stuff why is it being posted in a public forum?
Write it in a journal, find a co-worker to vent to, or just keep the thoughts to yourself if you don't want a response from others. Or at least know that you're going to receive feedback and I guess ignore it?
It just seems really strange to want to post to social media and not want feedback on the things you are posting.
