I'll miss Drew! It is hard to believe that this site has been up for almost a decade. It feels like just a few years ago that Jeff got fired from Gamespot and started Giantbomb. As someone who has been here from day one of the site I must say Drew is one of my favorites and it feels like he has always been around.
Seeing the old fotage make me realize how much time has passed. I've spent these years with Giantbomb and almost never missed a podcast. Watched the majority of the videos, even if I don't have time to watch every single minute anymore. I hope that they will find someone good that will join the crew. It took me some time to warm up to Dan but he feels as much part of the crew as anyone else now.
The Persona 4 ER still is still the best thing ever on the site and maybe on the internet as a whole. I played through the game myself on PS2 around that time and it was an amazing game but GB made it better. I hope Persona 5 is as great.
Them speaking about their salary I wonder what they make now. I assume they make a lot since the rent is so high and they can afford Lexus cars (Jeff) and such.
I make about €20k per year which is not easy to live on and I support my unemployed wife and child. Been working in costumer support all my adult life. I cannot imagine having a job like playing video games and make a lot of money. I'd be happy just having a job like that even with the same salary I have now. Still I am not complaining because I have an apartment and food for my family. There are a lot of people in the world who don't have food or proper housing.
I read the Eurogamer review and they don't have a score system but the review was not that good and they didn't give it a recommendation. They basically said it was bland. I'm glad this review was so positive because I get really interested when they showed it at E3 last year.
I've always wondered of Rage Racer is any good because it was supposed to be a pack in with my PS1. But they were out of Rage Racer so I got Rapid Racer instead. A speed boat racing game only released in Japan and here in Europe. I played that game so much.
Love the atmosphere but the gameplay seems really bad. A lot of running and hiding and really bad controls it seems for the shooting and that chainsaw fight looked terrible gameplay wise. Maybe because I compare it to FPS games since it is first person but it looked really bad gameplay wise.
This game was completely redone for EU with robots instead of humans and called Probotector. I don't think I have played it. For me the co-op NES shooter was Ikari Warriors.
Blood and Wine doesn't show up so I just put witcher 3 anyway. Several games says 2015 even though they came out in 2016 in the west. I've barely played any games from this year since I just now started playing Witcher 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. I tend to stay one year behind since I buy games on sale and wait for GOTY editions and such that include all DLC.
