Dan's Games of the Year 2021
Well I figured 2021 had to be better than 2020, but unfortunately it was worse. But some amazing video games came out this year and that helped a lot. 2022 has to be a better year.

I had cautious optimism for this game, the original Psychonauts was an amazing game, but could double fine do it with the sequel now 16 years later? not only did they do they released probably the best platform game in years. The style is amazing, the writing is phenomenal and the voice acting is there for it. The entire package is amazing and one of my favourite games ever.

I really only got into Forza Horizon with 4 and I really enjoyed that game, but 5 takes it to the next level Mexico is an amazing and perfect setting the events are fun and the amount of things to do is non stop. So much fun. The best racing game ever.

Not a big card game fan, I took a chance on this based on how many people I heard discuss how amazing it was and wow I am so glad I did, The twists and turns are worth it, and the visuals and story is so good. Play this game!

343 finally found their stride, the extra year for Infinite paid off in spades, this is the most fun I have had in a Halo game in years. The gameplay is the best its ever been, the open world aspects are so much fun. I loved this game and the grappling hook!

A visual feast for the eyes. Rift apart is one of the best Ratchet and clank games ever, Rivette is an amazing new character and the game really shows off the PS5!

Deathloop is Arkane at their best, the game itself is beautiful. The gunplay and powers are the best they have ever felt. Truly a great story with incredible acting.

The most fun coop game I have ever played. Looks amazing, tons of variety and great to play with a buddy. Something I needed this year.

After the dissapointment that was Avengers, and the early looks at Guardians I was not at all interested, but as more and more people spoke highly of it after its launch I got more and more interested, I finally picked it up and it is a truly fun and enjoyable single player game, it looks amazing, the writing and voice acting is so good, the environments feel well crafted and fun to play. Highly recommended this game!

By far my favourite tales game since Vesperia. I love the new art style and the gameplay just feels good. Really enjoyed this JRPG.

Wow what an incredible time loop game, they figured out how to get rid of the annoying things with time loops. twists are so good.

What a fun surprise, though different then the steamworld games it still has the studios dna and fun. Great and short game everyone should check out.
