But keep in mind that they're basically a digital pyramid scheme, where early investors are the ones who make the most money and they can only keep making money by convincing other people, who will all make less money than them, to get on board.

Early investors make the most money because they got in when the price was lower, this is true of any investment. It doesn't make Bitcoin a pyramid scheme at all.

Edit: Case in point - Bitcoin (and other currencies are similar) is down 30% (to USD) over the last 24 hours.

This always happens and isn't really evidence of anything to be honest.

A bunch of cryptocurrencies go on an insane price rally, then the price crashes, things cool for a little while, and then they rocket back up.

Ethereum went from $450 to over $830 within 3 weeks, a correction was definitely coming. As of today it already climbed back to $730 after the bloodbath that saw huge drops across all cryptocurrencies.

None of this shows cryptocurrency as a bubble as the money keeps flooding back into the market, sometimes almost immediately. The amount of growth since the Bitcoin fork back in July is insane.

Don't listen to anything Jeff says about Bitcoin or Ethereum. He just wants you to buy Litecoin.

Destiny looks as boring and devoid of interesting content as ever. What is the appeal?

"It has good gunplay!" is the same kind of excuse as Bethesda releasing buggy games but it being OK because the worlds are so big.

The Joycons' entire purpose of existence is so that we can play everything with out arms leisurely stretched out.

The first thing I did when I got my Switch and Mario Odyssey was detach the Joycons and let my arms hang limply to my sides while playing. It felt so lazy and good and worked just fine. I never got the complaints about motion controls either.

I've used the dock "controller" thing once and sometimes use the switch in handheld mode with the Joycons attached. Both are fine, but I honestly prefer playing with them separate a good 90+% of the time.

Back to the topic: This game seems pretty rad. Seems great for short bursts of play.

Said it in another thread but I'll say it again, the position in which we normally type or hold controllers is very unnatural for our shoulders and causes posture problems people need to spend time correcting at the gym. Other brands really need to get with the program and introduce their take on the Joycons because I really don't see myself going back to a dualshock after this.

I'm still fine with controllers, but the Joycons are extremely good while detached. They rival my Xbox Elite controller. And as I said, the motion controls seemed fine for Mario. Hell it became a subconscious act to do the auto-targetting shake motion because it was so easy. Curious if that's another detached thing too? I need to try out Zelda with them detached sometime, I've only played that in regular handheld mode so far (just got it for Switch, only bit into it, but I beat the WiiU version).

Only real problem with the JoyCons is the analog sticks, they are compromised so that they don't stick out too far when taking the Switch outside and in travel cases. Nintendo would be wise to introduce home oriented 'Cons that have better sticks.

Another CrowbCat cherry picked video, pretty funny though.
