Poor old lady forever wandering in the park looking for her house! I know the whole thing has been recorded but the fan in me is already thinking, "They missed the photo & cassette tape in the drawers in his room, the move scroll beside the shrine room, the letter in Iwao's room etc."
This quote from Brad pleases me since I agree wholeheartedly. Finished the game earlier today and it is great in my opinion but oh boy there are a few fights later on that are frustrating. The true final boss I didn't find as annoying as say The Edge but his last phase is a homage to bullet hell stuff pretty much.
@joemotycki: To me, it is the worst of the Mario & Luigi series due to the fact it should have been about 10-15 hours shorter and would have been great but it just did drag trying to find the last pieces of the Ulitbed and the final dungeon. I know Partners in Time gets a lot of flak but it didn't outstay its welcome like Dream Team did.
Currently still playing this and probably about two-thirds to three-quarters of the way through it and I am enjoying it but still not as good as the series highlight ie Bowser's Inside Story.
Glad to see they are enjoying it. I just started on the game myself last Sunday and currently on episode 4. End of episode 3 was quite something and I am sure episode 4 will have some moments too. Really enjoying it myself.
I can't disagree with Dan and Jeff enough over WWE 2k16. Game is incredibly solid this year outside of a few issues. The fact that Dan brought up limited reversals as a negative when every other review I've read brought it up as a positive just shows me that Dan and Jeff both aren't looking for a sim wrestling game at all. Which is fine but if you're in the market for a sim wrestling game I think this one is pretty great. I'm playing it as I listen to the podcast and just had a fantastic back and forth match with Finn Balor.
Limited reversals as a negative?! Screw that! That is the thing that I am glad has finally happened because I was sick to death of your opponent reversing 80% of your moves for the past few years and just eneded up being reversal-mania for the most part. I haven't bought the game yet though (waiting on the PC version) but it seems to be an improvement over last year, which I found to be probably the worst WWE game since Smackdown vs Raw 08 where it too had a really crap career mode.
