When you shove a bunch of money into a machine and tell it “make mindless Hollywood piece of shit with little to no value whatsoever” this is what comes out. The first one was at least tolerable and had fun moments.

Hereditary (2018) - 1.5/5

I was pretty hooked during the first half or so of this, but then it just goes off the rails like so many modern horror movies do and it tries to do too much, and it becomes jumbled and it loses its edge quickly. It is a beautifully shot movie, and there are a lot of neat scenes that work well at being unsettling, but there are also a lot of lame close up shots of a character slowly turning around to see a creepy person standing in the corner and in the end I just did not care much for it. At first it felt like The VVitch but it ended up like The Conjuring and it’s a bummer.

Upgrade (2018) - 2.5/5

I knew nothing about this going in and at first I was hating the cheesy writing and setting but it quickly turned around and became pretty entertaining. Super silly sci-fi/action gorefest. A bit too silly in some parts.

Someone before said that these bots post nothing but jumbled garbage. Don’t know if it’s true or not, and if so what the point is.

One tip is to start doing simple bodyweight exercises at home just for a starter, if that is a possibility for you. There are plenty of exercises that do not require any equipment and it might be a good way for you to just get into a routine. I have the same issue of not really wanting to go to a gym so I’ve been doing strength training at home. I feel like once I’m comfortable enough I might start going to one but I’m in no rush and training at home seems to be working out well.

Everyone on Twitter is talking about moving to Mastodon or not moving to Mastodon. I’m guessing it’s just another social media platform but ppl are jumping ship because Twitter is such a cesspool? I really have no idea
