I would have but it comes out in the same month as Dragon Quest XI and Spider-Man. So honestly I'm going to wait until the holidays when it is on sale. That last Tomb Raider game was really fun but I am kinda bummed that it seems more of the same as the last two in both combat and stealth. Here's hoping there is more than just what has been revealed in trailers.

Creepshow 2: All three segments, especially the middle one The Raft, are solid and the animated segments between the stories is neat. That said it lacks the campy and at times downright goofy quality that George Romero brought to the original that perfectly encapsulated what made those old horror comics so memorable to guys like Stephen King and Romero himself. 3 bumps in the night out of 5.

This year I finally moved to an apartment with washer and dryer hook-ups. It has been so nice to never have to worry about having quarters, having to wait on strangers, and the clothes dilemma.

I was really good about getting my clothes out on time but it also helped that I usually did laundry late at night so I didn't run into the problem too often. That said I wouldn't fuck with somebodies clothes if they were in the washer but dryer is fair fucking game though I would give a half hour to an hour depending on what else I had to do.

@norm9: That gay rookie cop was played by Michael Jace who would later go on to murder his wife in front of their two sons and is now spending 40 years in prison.

Anyway on to a less grim subject, whenever a show drops a subplot without resolving it my partner and I call it "lost in the Pine Barrens" in honor of one of the best episodes of The Sopranos "Pine Barrens". In the episode Paulie and Christopher go to the Pine Barrens to bury a Russian only it turns out he's not quite dead so they end up chasing him and Christopher even ends up shooting him in the head which doesn't slow down the Russian for a second. Christopher and Paulie end up losing track of the Russian and getting lost in the Pine Barrens until they get rescued by Tony. Anyway throughout the rest of the series you never find out what happened to that Russian and fans apparently constantly harass The Sopranos creator David Chase and that episode's director Steve Buscemi about it. I believe their responses range from "he died/went back to Russia" to "it doesn't fucking matter".

I'd say plan ahead and have a schedule that you loosely adhere to. Plus make sure to have several back-up plans because things can and will go wrong on the technical end. Most importantly remember to have fun, stay hydrated, and periodically take a break to stretch and move around.

@gecokid: Weird seeing this pop up after three years but I wasn't a fan of Spyro and was more of a Crash Bandicoot kid. Coincidentally in the PS2 era I flipped game companies because I loved the Ratchet and Clank series over Jak and Daxter.

Is there a good blu-ray set for this. I'll check it out later since I've been meaning to see this. I really like The Unit, Does it have the same sort of feel?

It's kinda more Homicide meets Training Day meets Bad Lieutenant minus Harvey Keitel's penis.

It's arguably one of the first prestige dramas on basic cable and its success led to other dramas to edgy for network TV to get a chance. Plus it introduced a lot of people to the incredible Walton Goggins who would go on to star in another great drama on the same network by the name of Justified.

The PS1 and even up to the PS2 era had several third party one-handed controller made specifically for JRPGs. Most looked like rudimentary Wii nunchucks but a few looked like weird futuristic glove things.

I chose Therion because I always like playing as a thief/rogue in RPGs be them pen and paper, Western, or Japanese.
