I don't want an infinite 2, I know that much. As far as another Bioshock game, though, I think I'd have to see what it is first. I really enjoyed infinite and if they could capture that again I think it would be worth another go.
But I also think they could do something similar without calling it Bioshock. Maybe drop some of what is expected of that name to carry for the next generation.
Are conservatives racists these days? I'm still not clear on that from this conversation.
From what I've seen and read the messages of the story for this game seems to be a bit different than condemnation of modern ideologies, and more of things such as Manifest Destiny. The acknowledgement of a nations faults isn't a revolutionary idea for a story, and certainly not one anyone should be offended by.
@brad_d80: But this is being discussed here, a fairly public forum. Consider that discussion doesn't happen in a youtube comment section, than consider the kinds of comments it inspires. The kind of comments youtube gets wouldn't inspire discussion, they'd be the worst kind of trolly commentary.
The way its played out is that there has been relatively few outbursts of crazy with both sides fairly represented and civil (by internet standards). In this regard closing the comments section was probably a boon.
Didn't he also say in the same podcast that he didn't have any particular attachment to the name? That should it get taken he'd simply come up with another one.
Also, didn't he say he wouldn't have time to manage the corp himself so he'd get somebody else to do it for him?
Playing through the game I didn't find any particular issue with it at all. In fact, it was rather shocking to me how much my perception of Lara actually changed.
It just seems like a lot of over-examination being taken more seriously than it should.
