I just spent thirty minutes trying to get past one of your many game-stopping bugs in CoP to no avail. I had been able to bypass an earlier bug with a teleportation cheat, skipping the Pripyat underground route (one of my favourite sequences) in the process. With each consecutive crash my disappointment grew, and as I passed the 10x mark, I died a little inside. In the past, when others complained about your crippling bugs, I stood by you.

I loved you despite your flaws.

But after thirty minutes, I said "Fuck it" and deleted Call of Pripyat from my Steam folder.

GSC, until you get your act together I won't buy any of your games. I know you try your best to squash the bugs, but it simply isn't enough. As incredible as your games are, I can't do this anymore.

Goodbye.

One day I bought an issue of EGM, and between the game ads I found a page promoting The 1up show. It was the first podcast I ever downloaded, and I was hooked. That was over four years ago.
 
I gradually picked up more and more 1up podcasts, and started visiting the site on a regular basis. 1up Yours, GFW Radio, Retronauts, EGM Live, Legendary Thread, and Broken Pixels became a part of my daily/weekly routine. Most weekdays I would have a new podcast to look forward to. 
 
After a couple of years, people started leaving.
 
1up slowly crept off my radar once GFW Radio died. 
 
The UGO takeover and massive layoffs put me off the site entirely. I made the switch to Giantbomb within the week.
 
Now... now I don't even want to think about it.

We'll see when the time comes. The moblie site and the happy hours have been badass (Still waiting for my shirt though).

Unless there are some steep discounts and you can re-download your games for free, Microsoft won't be getting my business.

I have never purchased a collector's edition for a chunk of plastic, but HOLY SHIT.
