The new trivia feature is awesome.

Many of the questions are not.

After completing a little over 200 questions, here are three rules that I think should be implemented:

You hit the nail on the head.

Monkey Island questions..ugh.

Halo question's, I don't have a freaking clue about that game!

Stop overusing the word "protangist".

Yeah. If I see another Guybrush Threepwood/LeChuck question, somebody's going to die.

I also dislike:
Questions that assume you know what game they're talking about, and provide absolutely no hints as to which game it is. Specifically, the one about Tales of Vesperia's final boss.
Questions about Birdo's gender. Please stop. I can't be expected to guess which gender you think Birdo is.
Any question that's already been asked a million times. Stop it! Right now!
A barrage of questions about games nobody has played. I'm looking at you, MattBodega and LordAndrew.

sometimes I do that too... I forget that when you attach the game to the question .. it doesn't show up... which it should"

They've already said they won't do that because sometimes the attached item gives away the answer. That's why they only show it on the right side after you've answered.

wouldn't it be the same thing if you went to that item's wiki page and did the trivia questions from that page?

Here's the problem. I've come across two questions about Birdo's gender. The answer to the first one was "No one knows for sure". The answer to the second one was "Female". I'm sure you can now see why those questions annoy me.

Questions i dislike are the ones revolving around DBZ and other Anime that DO NOT have relevance to said Anime series games but rather are questions surrounding the Anime show itself.

My number one pet peeve with the trivia feature involves questions written by people with no concept of how to use proper spelling, grammar, or punctuation.  If you can't write properly and you post a question about a game I have no knowledge of, how can I be sure that your "correct" answer is accurate?

And yeah, I've seen more than enough Monkey Island questions revolving around Guybrush and LeChuck to last a lifetime already.

There is a community moderation tool in place for just this sort of thing, and using it will help everyone have a better Trivia experience.  After a certain number of flags, a question is removed.  If a user gets multiple questions removed, then they are automatically banned from submitting any further questions.  Use it!

After you answer a trivia question, look to the right side of the screen and you'll see a link that says "Flag previous question as inaccurate or poorly written?

I will make as many DBZ questions as i want thankyouverymuch.

Your questions seem pretty obscure and difficult.  Looks like people have only answered your questions correctly about 33% of the time...with five multiple choice answers, theoretically guessing at every question would give you a 20% success rate.  Yeah, your questions are hard.  I don't know the answers to any of them.

Haven't encountered any unfair questions just yet, I just suck:P.

I'm ashamed to admit I made a Monkey Island question but I other questions have been quite good.

After answering another few hundred, I've noticed a few more trends:

-There's a 99% that a true or false question is going to be true, particularly if it's obscure
-Apparently there are characters called Soap and Captain Price in Call of Duty 4 and about two dozen people think it's novel to create questions about their names

Also, I really don't like True & False questions, although I suppose I can't say they should be disallowed.

Some of the questions I've submitted seemed to blank themselves out, which is interesting. Maybe there's a glitch.

Sorry Lae, I hadn't noticed too many Monkey Island questions when when taking the quiz so I had submitted one.  I'll try to think up some better stuff.

In hindsight I don't have as much of a problem with the Monkey Island questions - there were a handful of them at first but they've been so buried under the flood of Left 4 Dead questions that I think the world needs more Monkey Island to compensate.

I'd like to add one more: "Oprah Winfrey"
