Im using comcast and am located near philly. A few days ago it was so slow I couldnt watch any videos, and then it was fine for a few days. Again part of yesterday and all of today, I cant watch anything.
I have pretty massive hands so neither controller is really a problem for me. Because my hands are so big though, I like the 360 controller more. The PS3 controller is a little too small and a little to light for me.
Also, Dual Shocks R2 and L2 are designed to be more like the 360 controllers triggers instead of just buttons so thats why they are different.
@ch13696: Giant Bomb is all about the Videos. Why do you think they do all their Quicklooks and ER and all that jazz. Its never been about news because they really only post interviews that they occasionally do for big events, and trailers for high profile games. The wiki is a part of the site that the whiskey guys control and the moderators regulate, the GB guys dont spend their time with the wiki, its just there to make the site better.
Oh and silly me for forgetting probably the best part of GB, the Bombcast.
I would say no, you dont need to be ashamed. I'm 19 so we are both in the range where Pokemon was the shit in elementary school. So even though it is still aimed at kids, we have fond memories of Pokemon which really is what makes it appealing (at least I have fond memories). Its sorta the same way with me and Dragon Ball Z. Like I know its mad cheesy and stuff, but in middle school everyone used to love it so I still go back and watch it every now and again.
As for the games, I still think the original pokemon games were the best and are still some of my favorite games of all time. I have played every generation since then and all the new pokemon have really made me like it less and less. The pace of the games has also slowed down considerable. I went back to play my Leaf Green game after playing the most recent pokemon release and DAAAAMN are the new games slow. It takes me twice as long to get in and out of a battle in the new ones as it used to. Also, I dont much care for some of the new stuff they are adding or have added to the games. Like the whole weird pokemon contest things where they compete to be the prettiest or strongest or whatever hell that stuff is. I sorta stayed away from all that stuff, as well as all the wierd berry planting and collecting...like what the fuck is that about.
Anyway, the real question is not whether pokemon is still cool, its what they are doing to keep pokemon relevant. I still dont understand why they dont take it to a console and do a full 3D pokemon adventure. My real dream is that someday, most likely in the distant future when I'm old and gray, Nintendo will finally decide to make that Pokemon MMO I've been dreaming about since I stopped playing WOW.
Watch the Exorcism of Emily Rose by yourself at night. The part that makes it scary is that it actually happens to people. I havent seen it in a while so the production might not be as great as I remember but still.
Edit: Wait, scratch that, the scariest movie I've ever seen is The Wicker Man. It scared me because I never knew a movie could be that bad...Boom!
Mine was most likely some dumb arcade game that I played on my cousins xbox when I still only had an original xbox. If it wasnt a stupid arcade game though, the first game was most likely Portal or Burnout Paradise.
Gamefly is a little wierd sometimes. Sometimes they wont get my game for like 4 days, and then one time they sent me a game before they even received the one I sent because somehow they knew it was on the way back. You just have to plan it out if you want the new releases, and the best way to always have a game to play is have a 2 game plan. Its definately makes everything better with two games, because then you can play the game you have out while you are waiting for them to send another one.
