But they don't like it and have heard a couple times something is going on, so it must be dead. Same for pc gaming and rts games. These guys are smart when they talk about what they like, less so when they try to talk about anything else.

Giantbomb is knowledgeable about what they are interested in. Past that they let their personal opinion color what actually is happening. Hate to say it but it's true.

I checked giantbomb for the sole purpose of seeing if this thread would crop up. I'm way into people way into giantbomb.
