Feast your eyes on a brand new gnarly trailer for Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Ghost Recon is slated for a late May release packed with numerous awesome additions to the shooter genre. You'll get a four player Co-op mode with 12 separate missions to complete. Beta for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier announced

Starting April 19th up until May 2nd, you will be able to access the beta of the next installment in Tom Clancy's tactical shooters. you can download the beta to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier if you own Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction, pre-order order the game for the Xbox 360 from Gamestop, or you can receive a beta key through Playstation Plus.

The beta will allow twelve players to combat each other in one of two game modes. Conflict has the two teams compete for points base on completing various objectives, meanwhile Saboteur has both teams fight for control of one bomb in an attempt to detonate the enemy base. Two different maps will be available for play in the beta, Pipeline and Mill (screenshots in order below).

We'll see how this game shapes up, I myself had a ton of fun with the first Ghost Recon maybe I can add this to my shooter palate, unless Max Payne is extremely awesome and time consuming.

Arkham City DLC coming to a marketplace near you.

Thanks to our good old friends way out in Minnesota we have breaking news that there will be upcoming Batman Arkham City DLC. If you check over at PS3trophies you'll see at the bottom of the page a brand new set of trophies for 'Harley Quinn's Revenge'. I'm not to big on the challenge rooms in the game but I'd definitely give some new story content a try; the release date is currently TBD (still don't know what that means).

Journey sets new records on PSN

I may now have to dust off the old PS3 and spend the next 3 months updating just so I can get my hands on Journey. According to the Playstation Blog Jenova Chen creative director of thatGameCompany triumphantly announces how their PSN exclusive title Journey is now the fastest selling game on the Playstation Store.

Personally this is great news, seeing creativity rewarded and that games like Call of Duty aren't the only best sellers. I've held off from watching too many videos on the game because whenever I plan on playing I want to be pleasantly surprised. Looks like an awesome game and will probably will win the prize of finally-getting-chris-to-turn-on-his-ps3-for-the-first-time-in-2012-award.

Check out the Journey audio review with sworrior and BigRedNY.

Cliffy B's irresistible Forces of Nature

March 27th marks the release date of the new DLC for Gears of War 3 dubbed Forces of Nature. Be enthralled by the brand new selection of maps brought you by the one and only Cliffy B and his team at Epic games. For only 800 Microsoft Points (or free if you purchased the Season pass) you can get this DLC. Forces of Nature will add five new weapon skins from the start such as the Red and Blue MLG themed 'Major League' and the Cliffy B flavored, tuttie-fruttie UltraViolet Skin. There will be two unlockable skins tied to achievements, which there are ten new achievements packaged with the DLC.

The three new levels Aftermath, Artillery and Cove are some of the best yet. All have enough space to set up suitable vatange points, but have plenty of cover for frantic up close Gears of War action. The three new maps feauture elemental effects that may alter the firefight, such as an earthquale or a quick tsunami. Re-done versions of Jacinto and Raven Down come included, both are as good as ever. These are all available on both Horde and Beast modes, and if you have the time and the know-how you can find and utilize the brand new 'Elemental Cleavers'. These melee weapons come packed with the power of electricity or fire and add a new layer of fun to Horde mode. You also can't forget the additions of Commando Dom and Mechanic Baird, and the brand new Savage Hunter and Savage Grenadier.

If you're a season pass holder, it's a no brainer to get this for free, but if you're just now jumping into the action this DLC is one of the better ones. Sure you don't get a brand new single player like in 'RAAM's Shadow' but you do get three great levels for a rather good price.

My recommendation is to not miss out on this one.

Darksiders II Spankin' New CGI Trailer

Vigil Games creators of the 2010 hit Darksiders have released their latest trailer for Darksiders II. The original title was quite the change in pace at the time, and I personally am very excited to sink time in its sequel. Enough reading, enjoy the trailer in all its CGI glory; watch Death eliminate new demons with some brand new weapons. Oh and who's the big guy?
