having met these guys, i'd say vinny or jeff. they seem like they'd have the best time at a party, and booze could only make things better (to a point of course)
@UnsolvedParadox: actually yea, otherwise the racing might not seem as "authentic", although i'm sure turn 10 have thought of this, and many other solutions...
yea, i was tempted by the LCE at first, but then common sense squashed the forza fanatic in me and i ended up with the regular edition. so far, it's been excellent.
i wouldn't mind paying for new cars down the line, and the idea of an individual car store that works something like the rockband music store really intrigues me. the only problem would be online play, but that could possibly be solved but just displaying a generic car outline to players that haven't purchased the car?
yea, i'd buy either or both Chies from the storefront (amazing job to both!) , and i might try my hand at making the cartoon versions of the giantbomb crew, if i ever get the time (once i own the game..)
@pakx: yes, grid did night driving really well with the le mans races lasting 24 minutes, and seeing the sun come up in slow motion as you raced towards the horizon was pretty exhilarating.
PGR4 did snow driving very well, although only 1 or 2 tracks used it as i recall.maybe turn 10 should take a hint from bizzare creations?
i don't consider forza 3 a rip-off, i consider it a much more packed out and accessible game compared to forza 2, which i played a lot of. i think i'm probably biased because I love tuning and customizing the cars, and the new storefront is really well done, what with the tuning setup sharing and vynel stores. it might not appeal to hardcore fans of forza 2, which is understandable, but to me, it's definitely worth my money. maybe not 70 bucks though
i tried this on my netbook, it seemed to run pretty well. all the netbook mode appears to do is make the screen reeally small, almost unreadable, and turn all the graphics to low.
thanks for the info. i'll probly end up with a replacement pedal from amazon, seems to be a good cheap replacement, seeing as i'll probly end up with a set of real drums in the near future anyways
here's a quick question: I've broken 2 rockband kick pedals already, and the replacement I have now is awful. the spring is so stiff that its almost impossible to play anything with a complicated rhythm. does the guitar hero world tour kick pedal work with the rockband 1 drum set? i believe they both use a 3.5mm jack. or am I mistaken?
some info would be great, and if it doesn't work, what are some high-quality replacements?
