I am saddened .... there's nowhere to chat with people about the live football games going on today =/ I mean eventually you just kind of got used to off topic on neogaf, and even the gaming side was pretty good most of the time. I just hate seeing all these things on twitter about "how toxic it was and SO GLAD ITS GOING DOWN IN FLAMES GOODBYE SCUMBAGS" like if you ever visited any of the community post's there was very rarely toxicity and alot of camaraderie. You kind of fell into your own niche, and almost all of the "news" i heard about in the real world came from just browsing off topic. I really dont know what to do, it was that kind of place you could fall into an internet hole with for an hour or 2, and discuss almost anything.

Every time i've come here it's just seemed dead in comparison

If that retro game that everyone's been talking about is Donkey Kong, I have literally lost all faith in Nintendo, and will have to refrain from punching a whole in the wall.

One of the most competent studios on the planet, and incredibly talented group that could do any project in the world and they're stuck doing DONKEY KONG?? The people that gave us Metroid Prime, doing a 2d side scroller??? Who would be so incompetent to allow that to happen, the Wii U needs a killer game that drives systems, and their best studio gives us Donkey Kong.... I don't believe it, I can't.

I'll post a couple that haven't been mentioned and might be different than just comedy/video games.

First with all the MBMBAM love I'm suprised no one mention In Case of Emergency, it's got Griffin Mcelroy on it and they go over "doomsday" scenario's and talk about how to "survive" in a very tongue and cheek manner. It's not on mbmbam level though.

As far as sports goes I prefer Bill Simmons (I know a super popular one) but it's definitely somewhat funny and tends to appeal to me even when the subject doesn't (like talk about Baseball).

Football Today has alot of insight into the football world and seems like its hosted by a really cool guy who played for about 6 years, but wasn't an all star by any stretch of the imagination provides some good insight into how a player thinks sometimes.

Judge John Hodgeman is pretty good and generally has me cracking up (a comedy podcast); in general i suggest you at least try most of the maximumfun.org podcasts.

Hope you guys enjoy some of them, i have about 80 saved on my phone but the ones that get the most rotation are MBMBAM, The bombcast, Weekend Confirmed, Radio Free Nintendo, Football Today and Bill Simmons

It happen's sometimes, but don't expect it in the future; they'll probably bow and then fight
