Regarding Star Citizen: are the Giant Bomb crew, especially Vinny, just wholly opposed to the notion of crowdfunding? I've heard criticism regarding both old and new policies regarding disclosure of Star Citizen's development schedule from GB, either because people are pouring money into a black box or because this metaphorical box is now too transparent. Despite listening to both GB podcasts each week, I don't have a clear idea of what the crew think -- the criticism seems unfocused and inconclusive. I'm not hatin' here, I'm just curious.
The game's not out yet, and they've played an unfinished version for a very brief amount of time. I would expect their criticism to be inconclusive, because that's the state of the game.
Will the Game of the Year podcasts have a video version, as well?
That's a good question. Having the conversations on video for the first time would be epic, instead of them being pre-recorded ahead of time. Then again, it might be difficult, given how most of the staff travels out of state for Christmas and New Years before the content is posted.

Americans don't have a good ear for international accents, in my experience. I wouldn't be too hard on them. Every time I'm in the US, my Australian accent gets pegged as either South African, English, Irish, and once even as Kiwi accent. Very few Yanks would pick it as Australian first time around.
However the characters being evil should've tipped them to the South African accent if nothing else, they're the default baddies in everything.
