Dan has really weird views on what "normal people" are "supposed" to do.

I wasn't too fond of Dave Lang before Extra Life, but he really grew on me during the stream. He's cool.

He's also a monster.

Also, as long as nobody heard/saw the KO body fall, they won't go to alert when they wake them up - assuming that there hasn't already been a rash of "suspicious activities" (sounds, etc) radioed in, they'll just wake them up, tell control it was nothing, and move along.

Talking about when they wake up by themselves, not when another soldier wakes them up.

that's not true i knocked out the interpreter and his buddy with my riot smg, then woke both of them up, hid, and both got in their car and drove away.

Yeah, it has nothing to do with stun vs. sleep, but the fact that Drew fultoned the guy going around with the interpreter. The interpreter was waiting for that guy to get in the jeep before driving away.

Yeah, I meant if you put them to sleep, they'll just go back to what they were doing without calling CP and sounding the alarm (unless you were in open combat when you tranq'd them) versus the alert mode you get when they wake up from being knocked out.

@drewbert , don't feel bad about this mission going sideways. It went sideways for a LOOOT of people.

Wait, really? I don't really visit any MGS forums so I wouldn't know what people think of this mission, but doesn't Miller lay out exactly what you need to do at the start of the mission?

Drew was on the right track too, until Dan told him to knock them all out, wake the interpreter up, and follow him. The AI only goes back to it's routine if soldiers are put to sleep, not knocked out.

"I don't think there's anything to retrieve there"

Oh my God, Dan.

I suppose it's different when it's your own flesh and blood being born, but having conducted/participated in 50 odd deliveries when I was an intern, "incredible" wouldn't exactly be at the top of the list of words I'd use to describe the process, haha. :D

Yeah, I think the process is viewed very differently when it's your own kid as opposed to everyone else's kid :P

Yeah, it's that natural affinity between parent and child. I thought every newborn I saw was ugly as a rat, but I have no doubt that if or when I do become a parent, I'm going to view my kid as the epitome of everything beautiful in the world. :p
