Roguelike, almost Spelunky level oldschool fun. My kind of rhythm game.

Fills that Dark Souls itch on handheld. Played a little bit of 3, but this is the game that finally got me into Monster Hunter in a big way.

Ubisoft finally made a game all about climbing, and it's brilliant. Biggest surprise of 2015 so far.

Still in early access at this point in time, but truly an inventive and new way to do strategy in a Dark Souls like world. Yep.

Adorabletroidvania. Everything is this well-crafted 2D game seems hand drawn. Simply beautiful, but also difficult.

I used to be way into Dota, this is laid back Dota with Blizzard characters.

Haven't played a GTA game since San Andreas. Still amazing worldbuilding from Rockstar.

Being a big fan of the first two games (especially Assasins of Kings) this is basically my Skyrim.

I can say with some confidence that this is the best new Nintendo IP for years. If this does not sell well, it'll become one of those cult games people wanna kickstart in a few years, when Nintendo doesn't make a sequel.

Fifa meets Trackmania.. or whatever. It's brilliant!

(for PS4) Never played it originally. This was a perfect first buy for me, when i first got my PS4. Amazing experience.

Might be my gameplay favorite of the year (so far) with a very rewarding ''Open world''
First truly well-playin MGS game (i didn't really enjoy MGS4's gameplay that much)

I've been burned out on oldschool 2D platformers for quite some time. But due to this games infinite potential, i'm hooked. Can imagine going back to this atleast a few times a month, for years to come.

A game i would've never discovered was it not for Giant Bomb. Truly something entirely new for me, and i'm loving it.

As a huge Demons and Dark Souls fan, i was left in the cold on this one, not buying a PS4 'till September this year. Now going back to this one has been a fantastic experience. After all the hype and my slight dissapointment with Dark Souls 2, this is what i was looking for in a modern Souls game. Now i'm ready for Dark Souls 3!

I was very late to the game with Bethesda, having not finished Skyrim till late this year, this game opened my eyes to the openworld fun these games can truly bring.

Delivering on my childhood dream of being a rocket-scientist-space-man-cosmonaut-explorer-person.. Yes, this game actually released this year ;)

Feels to me like the shooting and chaos of Battlefield, mixed with the tention of oldschool Counter Strike. Really a great game, and even better with a solid team and communication.

Magicka meets Destiny, in this challenging topdown twinstick-shooter. Go to war alongside the community to defend SUPEREARTH!
