Grow Home is a physics-based platformer developed by Ubisoft Reflections. It was created in Unity and released on the Steam platform in early 2015 and PS4 on September 1st. It is best known for its serene, deliberate gameplay and for its procedural generation aspects, which determine how the game's central "star plant" will grow as the player continues to nurture it.

    Story and Gameplay

Grow Home centers around BUD (Botanical Utility Droid), a robot who is sent down to investigate a mysterious planet. BUD, sent to the surface, must get back to his spaceship in orbit. On the way, he will collect crystals to increase his functions, unlock teleporters to move around more easily and scan local flora and fauna. The planet contains a giant vine-like plant that BUD grows upwards in order to reach his spaceship.
