When Dan pretends that dragons were real you could see Drew with a big grin on his face like " I'm jsut gonna let that slide"
Also funny enough all this time everyone has been telling Drew to use the tranquilizer pistol it has become apparent to me that he is now in the portion of the game where a tranquilizer is a lot less useful as more of the missions have armored people. He has literally powered through the game to the point where the over poweredness of the tranq pistol and sniper rifle have become a lot less viable.
If people like this something to look out for is Monster Monpiece. It's the infamous Vita game where you jack off your vita and the monster girl gets more naked BUT it is basically this game but turn based and with anime monster girls exclusively as your units. You level up cards ( they can only get to level 3) and the cards don't necessarily make the monster stronger, it might just modify them or give them different stats. One of my cards when fully leveled up lost the ability to move forward and became stationary BUT as normally the cards have 1 to 2 attack range spaces as they move forward she would sti in the back and had infinite range across the board. yet to win you need to REACH the enemies base so she could clear a lane for me but she could never capture a base.
I feel like that is something this game doesn't quite have that makes me agree with brad. A person who just started playing a game like Monster Monpiece could take on a end game deck with a beginner deck because the game was balanced so you couldn't just over power an enemy. Tactics win a game not how leveled up your dudes are.
That said this game is fun and I have enjoyed the matches ive played of it. I like the feeling of over powering people even though I know it's not from skill but i got lucky with chests. Yet even I can see the flaw in the system. Looking forward to Monster Monpiece on steam, sad it wont have multiplayer anymore.
Fun Fact: The Battle Gear was supposed to be usable in the open world but it wasnt fun enough to use and they ran out of time to adjust it to make it fun to use so they just left it as a dispatch mission thing as it was baked into the story and they couldnt remove it.
If anyone is curious the collectors edition strategy guide has a long interview with Hideo and he spoils EVERYTHING. You know exactly whats going on with Emmerich, etc, etc
So my whole thing with VR is if I can use it on my computer. If I can't use PS VR on a pc then I would need a SIZABLE number of games that use it well. I don't have 2k to spend on a new computer and the oculus so here is to hoping they have it possibly functional on PC. Big budget games are nice and all but I really want to see what the indie scene makes for VR and indie is PC
