Four wishes to Microsoft about Kinect

I am one of few who actually believe in the Kinect for Xbox 360. The technology seems tough enough to power some big titles. Below you can see some ideas I hope to see the coming years.
Head tracking to first person shooters
Imagine that you are playing a triple a title. You are in story mode and the objective is to take out the enemies without being detected. In a mission like this, imagine yourself leaning left and right to lean out from a wall to see your enemies. Obviously this is how first person shooters have done it on the PC and I think that it would work perfectly with the Kinect.Kotaku put up a video that basically shows that you will be able to sit down and play with the Kinect. If this turns out to be true, then I’d love to see this feature in future shooters. Keep things like this out of the multiplayer though!
Dice rolling for board games
Vinny mentioned this in the RISK: Factions quick look. This is also something that easily could work if the whole “sit down with your Kinect” turns out to be true. Imagine yourself air whanking and kicking the enemies!Voice control in different ways
Yeah, that Tom Clancy game wasn’t that great but it really had potential. But really imagine Fable III where you can – if you choose to – interact by shouting “hey” to a villager. Or what about sending them to hell? I doubt that the ESRB would go mad if Lionhead registered “get the eff of” as “go away” and it would be cool to get in fight by shouting crazy stuff to everyone in the village. Something like this: Villager! Shut up!Point at stuff!
Remember when Claire played along with Milo in that fake ass trailer from 2009? However she did point at the screen and she totally did touch the virtual water in the TV. If that stuff turns out to be accurate enough, then strategy games would be pretty cool on consoles again… Sorry – they would be pretty cool FINALLY.I would want to put out my soldiers on the field with my hand and also select them and say – kick the S out of these ones or something like that.
And hey, I am almost ready to put money on Peter Molyneux announcing Black And White 3 for the Xbox 360 with Kinect support at GDC or E3 2011 and that my friends, that would be amazing!
