I thought Nero was a much more believable character and wasn't too over the top like Dante. Johnny Yong Bosch also did some brilliant voice work for the character.
So yeah, I would say I prefer him to the Dante in DMC4. :P

Played the hell out of the first and just ordered me a cheap copy of GOW 1 for PC. Got to do something till GOW2 right? XD

Agreed. Forums signatures would make an awesome addition to Giant Bomb. Still, these are early days... I'm sure they'll get round to implementing them soon enough :D
