Crusader Kings 2 with the Sword of Islam dlc. My guy just went on Hjajj with his marshall and their ship was attacked by pirates, my Caliph fought them back with his now best friend the marshall and my Caliph now has a permanent scar under his eye from the event. If you like strat games with a deep learning curve I can't recommend CK2 enough. Snide did an amazing QL that's up on the site a while back.
Woe to me, my great Empire has fallen to pirate scum, I'm playing this 4X on normal and I am usually good with 4X games. After hearing on the Bombcast that Brad had seen forum posts about ES's difficulty being wonky. I assume there is some validity to that, but does anyone have a race or good strat to fight pirates on the normal difficulty? I feel like I never get to progress because the pirates wipe out half my fleet pre-contact with most of the other races.
@watchmen877: I'm right with you man, I'm at 124 blu rays. Most of them re-buys of my favorites. I just love collecting movies in whatever the most HD format is I guess. I've bought Kingdom of Heaven and The Big Lebowski more times than I can count.
What needs to happen (excuse me if this has been said) is to stop setting all new games at 60 dollars, games like Asuras Wrath have way to hard of a time selling new copies at 60 because consumers are afraid to purchase something they've never heard of. At like 40 dollars I think many more would pick it up and check it out.
