I'm enjoying the game alot, just reached level 30. I agree with Jeff though almost point for point. I'm not in love with the game and yet I've racked up almost two days of playtime. It's a great co-op experience and on paper there's a bunch of things about it that should be the most boring shit in the world. Yet I find myself sinking hours into the game without even really realizing it.
@abetorias: Late on this, but yes the game does change a lot throughout. Most of the game plays with that core Warioware-ish mechanic really well. It subverts your expectations by changing up the battle system for certain bosses into something totally different. However Austin is right that the first 2/3rds of the game are simply good rather than amazing. But the last third is something really special that it would be a shame to spoil. The plot of the game comes together in a really great way, and several events break the fourth wall in spectacular and innovative fashion.
