@ravelle: She didn't have the entirety of her eyesight back yet, she just saw him as a shadowy outline with no details.

@ethanielrain: Water vapor, if you wanna be pedantic, yeah. Think he meant liquid water specifically, but I guess he was wrong anyway.

Forgot to mention, they haven't done Rush training in so long that they didn't even recognize the trainer being part of the crowd on the street watching Majima beat down those dudes.

@mikesmithvw: I'll keep that in mind, I'm catching up with Hitman stuff right now.

Having now watched the pre-finale part of this video, I can't help but be disappointed that they didn't remember where the pharmacy was for Staminan Royales, even though they were right outside it when they noticed the kappa statue. Oh well, at least the Staminan XXs that they picked up at Don Quijote were enough, until Kiryu picked up more on the boat.

I think they also forgot that they could block bullets with objects or while guarding with a skill they bought last time in Beast style, which probably would've made that section a lot easier. At least they seemed to do ok with Beast with Shibusawa.

Wished they could've maybe finished the Beast/Brawler training that they had available. So many unpurchased Heat moves that could afford but they probably would've never pulled out though it would've looked really cool if they pulled it off, like the Beast shoulder break or counter punch or the pole break or the Brawler pickup and slam combo.

Also, they popped right into the finale when they switched over to Majima again without topping off on healing items or going back to Osaka to finish training either. So many missed opportunities that I hope they pick up on in the post game wrap up stream this Friday... We never did get to see Majima steal a hidden blade with his Batman vision that they got last week.

Man, they didn't even notice their clear time on the final screen (47:22 or something that effect) and then they asked what it was. Guess that's the Beast crew playing through this game in a nutshell.

Anyway, looking forward to that side quest stream at the end of this week. This series was one of the reasons I upgraded to Premium, and it was worth it. It was a great ride with all you guys, and I look forward to them playing through Kiwami in a couple months whenever that will be, and then hopefully the rest of the series, and their take on it. Just hope they'll remember some of the stuff in this game that gets called back in later games, or even just the story come Kiwami. Looking forward to it.

Now to watch more Premium videos while my subscription lasts. Gotta catch up on a bunch while I'm at it.

@doctornieves: From the time hashes on the save files, it looked like they were recording this the day after their last session. However, that bit of information likely makes their inability to remember names and plot details even worse.

Isn't there a trophy for letting Reina club you with that bottle?

As for side quest stuff, a lot of good ones have already been suggested, but the bowling one needs to be done, if only to see the reactions of the guys. The Miracle Johnson follow up is less funny, but seeing how they liked the first one, finishing it would be nice.

Majima's ghost porn one is also good, you need to complete the friendship of the Adult Video place in Sotenbori to start that one.

I'd love to see them do more karaoke so as to see more of the cut in videos, but you need to be on dates for that, and the only way to get those to trigger is doing special training with the platinum hostesses in the cabaret club with Majima or getting them on the telephone club with Kiryu, and I think that would take way too much time and take away from the finale stuff that's been building like crazy.

So probably just do the finale, even if I would like to see them beat more real estate stuff. You guys can always come back to it in Premium Adventure mode if you want more content after the finale is over.

@drew327: Pretty much.

Also, Lao Gui means Old Ghost/Demon in Chinese. Thematic naming!

@alistercat: I know you're talking mostly in the context of Japanese-Chinese relations, but speaking as a Chinese person (albeit American born), Chinese people be racist as hell, even against other Chinese from different parts of China. Mainlanders against overseas Chinese, Hong Kongers and Taiwanese and vice versa; long time urbanites versus recent rural migrant workers (who the former think are uncultured assholes moving to the cities and coasts looking for work who still piss and shit in the streets, because that does happen); even overseas Chinese racist against newcomers, who are stereotyped as uncultured swine overwhelmingly from Fujian province (my aunt went on a 10 minute rant against new Fujianese immigrants to the US to my cousins based off of her experiences dealing with Fujianese while working at a Chinese Senior Center and Food Pantry in Brooklyn, a couple weeks ago when we were in a Chinese food court in Flushing, Queens, because what we thought was a recent Fujianese immigrant started a fight a table behind us and was thrown out by security, egged on by my cousin's stories dealing with Fujianese patients at the medical office where he works in Chinatown, and how difficult they are to understand).

Add this to the overwhelming history that China and Japan have, plus the nationalistic fervor whipped up from time to time by their respective governments, and you can see why there's a ton of racism there from both sides. I know that Japan has apologized a bunch of times for all the excesses of the Imperial government prior to and during World War II, but Abe's recent stances have been seen as real wishy washy with regards to that (Yasukuni Shrine visits don't help things), not to mention the stuff that the far right members of his party who hold important positions do (the former governor of Tokyo comes to mind), which gets blown up by the Chinese nationalist media to whip up a frenzy amongst the populace.

Not saying it's solely Japan's fault, but the Chinese leadership in the CCP certainly takes advantage of it, to stir the feelings of the populace to help maintain their social control. I know some of the younger Chinese population certainly enjoy Japanese cultural exports, but there is also a large ultranationalist segment there even amongst the younger generations that feeds the animosity between the two a lot, which the Chinese government likes to exploit.

This is just mostly talking about the Chinese side because that's pretty much what I know. I'm sure there's a lot on the Japanese side I haven't touched on because I don't know about it.
