Want another example of matte and gloss finishes? The DS Lite and the DSi. Thank GOD for the matte finish on the DSi. I freaking hate fingerprints.

I don't really listen to music while playing most games. It distracts from the experience of the game.

I'll go with the second choice. It can make them less interesting but, at the same time, it can make them more relatable since you are seeing the world through their eyes and whatever they're experiencing, you're also experiencing.

Hmm, that's a tough choice. If I had to go with single-player alone without counting Borderlands' co-op then I'll say Fallout 3.
