Good one, this one is a classic and a must have RPG.

" Forgot to mention, since i play alot of new games on the 360, i'm looking for something either PC exclusive or something a little obscure.. "

PC exclusive strategy games: Civ 4,  Evil Genius,  Galactic civilizations 2, demigod.
The best thing to do is just get steam.  Then wait for good sales.
But most of my PC games are also on 360, not many PC only games any more other than MMOs and strategy games.

Did you know there’s a group of people calling themselves software engineers?  As a computer programmer myself, I always hated this term, because we aren’t engineers.

You don't play the arcades once a day, because they aren't in your home, and aren't a quick way to pass the time. Arcades are in other places, and not played every single week. "

When I went to the arcade back in the 80s I did go every day, for hours.  And it was a lot more than 50 cents a day.

The bottom line is $15 for a month a gaming is better than most $60 games that last less than a month.  Unless you rent or pirate your games which sounds like it is the case for you.  Sorry not everything in life is free.

" Subscription fees are going to be a huge barrier for this game to me.  They should have an advertising model. Considering it's a brand new Star Wars game (and a huge MMO at that), they will be able to get a lot of people to buy ad space here. "

I'm in the same boat, the game looks great but I flat out refuse to pay monthly for something like this.

......

As a gamer (PC) that buys and never rents, I can spend a few hundred a month on $60 games that only last a week.  Playing MMOs with a monthly fee of about $15, saves me money, and lots of if. If 50 cents a day is too much I think you really have financial issues.

I'm getting the feeling that most of Blizzcon 09 will be about WoW and OMG OMG OMG OMG hype time Cataclysm.

As someone who stopped playing years ago, because it was so boring, this does nothing to impress me. It's still the same boring, slow game mechanics.

The only thing that would interest me would be:
1. New classes (that you can play from the beginning)
2. A complete skill system revamp actually allowing for massive build diversity (which will never happen with Blizzard).
3. Aiming combat, not auto aim tab.

Until those three things happen I could care less about WoW, still the same old boring game it always has been. Replacing old boring things, with new boring things does nothing for me.

And for all of you that like it, I'm talking about Boring for me.

So before the hype train goes full speed I just want to slow it down a bit and say for those people that found WoW too boring to play, this will not change much, for those people that liked it, but haven't played in a while, this will make a good reason to come back.

As for the monk and D 3, I do think the monk is cooler than the paladin, so that's good news.

I was just playing GTA IV on my 360, and thought, I would love to play this on my PC. So I go look at the reviews and it sucks ass if you don't have a quad core. So there goes that.

So now the big question is what are the good sandbox games for the PC?
So far I have:
Oblivion
Fallout 3
Prototype

-The thing I like about GTA IV is the variety of things I can do between quests. I can go on dates, watch TV, hang out with friends, and more. With other sandbox games like Fallout 3 or Prototype, I can do more killing in between my quests which are all about killing. There's no just hanging out.

Any other good sandbox games with a variety of things to do?
