Paper Mario   is my vote.

I also vote for Paper Mario.

I'm assuming that this is a video LP (there are LPs that aren't video), so I'd say Wario Land 3. I'm never gonna beat it (Wario should not mix with Metroid), so somebody should.

My personal choice would be to see Oracle of Seasons, followed by Thousand Year Door (if you haven't played that.)

I'd say Sands of Time. But it is the only game on that list I've beaten.

I think it was a 6 hour game the first time.

1st you need to get a way better mic. Seriously. Your stuff on the podcast was hurting my ears. Once you take care of that you can choose a game. One thing a good LPer knows is to not do a game everyone does and has been LPed to death. You want to do a "smaller" game that you have some connection to or is good. Or take a good old game you heard about and blind run it. Out of the games you listed Wario Land and Paper Mario sound like the best choices for a good LP to me. Or this Ristar, which is good because I have not heard of it and you can introduce people to it. I have seen many many LPs in my day.

Paper or Ristar (Dont even know what that is BUT THATS GOOD) Playing something not a lot have played is a good way to keep interest.

If voice commentary is not an option, have you considered doing a text/screenshot LP? I have found them to be quite effective when the LP is a good enough writer.

Oracle of seasons! I loved that game sooo much , I would definitly watch it.

Oh, I see. I thought you meant something more formal. I still don't really know what to tell you. I could recommend a good text LPer as an example, though I can't recall anything he specifically did or did not do. I would imagine they wouldn't be much different: be funny or informative, make each update a significant length and post high quality screen captures. Keep a regular schedule. I guess you should have a balance of text to shots. The guy I'm thinking of would actually type out most of the dialog instead of posting a series of screenshots having all of the subtitles. Just thinking about it though, it would seem that you would have a bit more freedom in regards to what you can do with screenshot LPs than with video.

I do suggest you check out the stuff by The Dark ID. They are really funny, especially his more recent games like his Drakengard and Nier playthroughs.  You can find most of them on the lp archive. If you want an idea of what makes a good text LP, those are it. In the sort of way the Endurance Runs are good examples of what makes an entertaining video LP.

PoP I guess, though none of those games I'd be particularly interested in seeing a LP of because I don't see the potential for entertainment.

There is only one answer and it's Ultima 7. So that's the game you should LP. If You choose a different one, boo to you good sir, boo to you!
