I'm fully on board with Butcher and Blade now; thought that little slaughterhouse interlude was dope. They're like characters out of a Nicolas Winding Refn movie.
@liquiddragon: You can't go wrong with the standard green; best energy drink flavor on the market in my opinion. If you like Red Bull, there's Gronk. Not every store has it but it's the best alternate they've made.
And then they've got their Monster Juice line which I'm not a fan of. They just taste like . . . like juice.
Holy hell, I just finished the Folding Screen Monkeys puzzle from Sekiro. Easily my favorite moment of the year. I was close to giving up and looking up the solution for the final monkey and then I noticed the paw prints on the ground. My jaw hit the floor when I slashed the air and realized he had been following me the entire time. The constant sounds of feet pitter-pattering behind me should have been the clue! Such an incredible feeling to finally figure it out.
Really hope it gets a mention in the GOTY discussions.
Lucha Bros vs Omega & Page next week should be a banger. It seems like they're trying to load up that show, being that it's the last one of the year. Maybe that's the episode where Page turns on Kenny setting up a match at Revolution?
I can't get over the fact that Omega is like 3-18 on his attempts for the Terminator dive and the "you can't escape" fireman's carry slam. No wonder the audience never plays along, they know it's almost assuredly going to be countered.
AEW has so many cool acts and only 2 hours each week to showcase them all. I would cut this Brandi stuff completely and never acknowledge it. Give that time to literally anyone else.
@machofantastico: For context, 2019 has been WWE's worst year ever, creatively. That said, The Fiend is one of the most interesting things on Raw or Smackdown, currently. If everything else they're doing is an F-, The Fiend is maybe a solid C.
