I'm cheating this year, GOTY is going to be a little late so I can play more games.

Is this for competitive play or just in game? If it's for competitive play you'll almost definitely want swords dance on that guy. Flare Blitz and Hi Jump Kick are the best stab moves for him, but if you want him to be a little bit more survivable maybe substitute one of those moves with Blaze Kick or Sky Uppercut. With a naughty nature you could also go for the mixed attacker route, and have his fire move be Overheat. Blaziken's got all sorts of fun toys, so it kind of depends on the rest of your party.

The sex offender list really ought to be revamped. I don't see why someone who exposes themselves should be treated the same as a rapist. I still think it should exist. That Megan's Law story or whatever it's called is proof enough of that. Maybe the list should just be for violent sexual crimes though. I don't know. I'm no lawman.

Still I don't really think the principal should be forced to resign entirely over this issue. I don't necessarily agree with his actions, though I believe they are totally understandable given his position, and I have no doubt that if he'd known the kid would kill himself, he never would have reacted so strongly. I bet he feels like shit right about now. Language like "directly resulted in the teens death" is hyperbolic nonsense though, this is exactly the opposite of direct. I understand they're upset about the death of a child, and they want to accomplish something to get rid of this terrible feeling, but demonizing a principal who only did his job isn't going to help anybody. The kid did it to himself, and honestly if he was willing to commit suicide over the mere suggestion of these consequences, there was probably some sort of mental issue there to begin with.

@rorie: I think you guys are killing it on premium content and have been for a while. I'm dying to get paid so I can watch Pathfinder 2. When I said "worth it" I meant it from the perspective of his finances, rather than the perspective of how much you guys actually put out, because as he said, he has no income.

I don't really think setting a game in America helps with sales at all. I can't recall a time where the marketing of a game really played up the American setting. Maybe something like GTA does a little bit.

For me this is the same as the women in games argument, if a developer wants to make a game that's set outside of America with non american characters, that's cool. If they want to make a game in America with Americans, that's cool too. I do feel like we get a little more diversity than you seem to suggest though. Video games pretty frequently have us traipsing across Earth to journey through ancient forgotten civilizations, and unexplored environmental anomalies. A large portion of games aren't even set on earth, most fantasy games exist in a fictional world, and usually the basis of these worlds is decidedly European.

I enjoy being premium when I am (which is when I have money). I don't know that they release enough content on a monthly basis to make an annual subscription worth it though. Honestly I think part of the premium subscription is being happy that you're supporting these guys doing what they do.

@jeust: I'm not saying every game pirated is a lost sale, but they're enjoying the hard work of these people and offering nothing in return. That's a really shitty thing to do, especially to people like Indie devs who have to struggle just to make these games a reality.

I would feel really bad if I pirated an indie game. For the financial situation a lot of those devs live in, that would be like taking food off of their table.

Is there somewhere you can pay to have people make you custom miniatures like these?

I hate ads, I run an adblocker, but I like to support people who make a living out of ads, so I white list liberally. It's mostly to protect me from sites I don't normally visit and sites where the ads actually make the experience noticeably worse. Sure it's wrong of me to digest that content for free, but maybe they should just get better ads. I am perfectly willing to put up with reasonable ads.
