The Teti article on PS4 seemed pretty inane. Of course it's first world problems - it's a video game console, not a sack of rice to be dropped in Africa.
Knew if they were doing a 2014 game they wouldn't be able to ditch Yukes, there is just not enough time for that. Maybe they can experiment with it later down the road.
Heard already that Sony has reconsidered the 4 GB and gone up to 8 (which their Devkits did have), not really much else to say about it - the reveal is in 2 weeks, so we'll see. I don't think we'll get a huge boost in performance from the extra RAM though, with faster optical drives and maybe an SSD? (I mean where would you even get a 120 GB magnetic drive these days, it would probably cost more to dig up that fossil than to just go for an SSD)
Rockstar would literally be wasting money if they put this on nextgen systems that close to launch. There's a reason launch games are generally not stellar: no install-base to sell to. Even today if you sold a GTA game to every single person who has bough a WiiU it would be underselling compared to what you can get on the systems with a dedicated installbase. These games are HELLA EXPENSIVE. At the time GTA4 was the most expensive game ever made.
@BlatantNinja23: They could bring Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate to the US/CA. Those games have really good stories.
JAST licensed Steins;Gate but they haven't brought it over yet afaik
I saw the anime (of Steins) and thought it was pretty interesting, I've had my eyes open for the english release of Steins. Didn't really care for Chaos;Head
Oh I know I can edit the wiki I was just wondering if anyone had some informationi I didn't about it, since it was very intentionally put there; I will get right on that :P
