I do prefer couch gaming, but that's because my desktop chair is just a simple folding chair with a padded seat, now unpadded due to frequent use in a household of 5.
A crazy mix of The Fresh Prince and the entire Cartton Network library during my childhood (Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo). On a side note, I don't think cartoons today are awful, I think we've simply grown out of them. There are shows I watched as a kid that I can easily see being aired along with the shows of today. I was simply in a more accepting state of mind when the shows I enjoyed as a child first aired.
I didn't know there was a consensus about the community's feelings towards him, but I personally don't like his attitude. He seems to dislike alot of things excessively from what I hear from him on the podcast. As far as his work is concerned, no problems.
The Sims Medieval game actually looks really cool. I honestly did think it was the Sims 3 with a medieval skin before watching that. Not that that's a bad thing as I loved the Sims 3 but a reskin wasn't really gonna get me excited. But I'm actually really interested in this now.
For systems, I've grown out of my nintendo fanboyism. It happened around the time I got an original xbox to play KOTOR. Revan man.......Revan. Franchise wise, however, I'm a huge Zelda fanboy. I haven't played a zelda game I didn't absolutely love. I can however see how some people may be tired of the same old formula. It never ceases to pull me in, though. While many lament the dungeon, treasure, boss, rinse, repeat system, I get a warm fuzzy feeling inside once I find my first boss key.
