Some RPG games like Mass Effect take only 12 hours to complete the mainquest line, while other RPG games like Persona 4 take over 80 hours to beat the main questline. What do you think is the ideal length for RPG games?
Hey guys lets all judge a medium based on one show! I don't know why people who like video games think they are somehow "above" anime because of shows like this; it's like taking one look at Gears of War 3 and going, "God damn it America".
Shut up!! Don't try to argue with anime haters with logic!! All anime are the same dammit, just like all video games are about steroid junkie space marines!!
Oh god that trailer was horrible, all the scenes flash so fast that I had no idea what was going on the entire time. There wasn't a single scene that seemed to last a full second.
The main appeal of cod to me is that it is quick and easy to jump in to with no messing about. It's fast paced, pretty fun and absorbing. There has been a bit of a hate bandwagon against cod on these forums recently, not sure if it's a hipster thing, but there is no denying that it's a fun, easily accessible franchise, and ultimately it's why the series is so damn popular.
It's not a hipster thing at all, it's the fact that activision is milking what was a good franchise and essentially forcing developer companies to crank out a new CoD game every year. Eventually they're going to milk it so bad that people get tired of it and they'll kill the franchise just like they did guitar hero. Also I'm sure people are tired of the fact that a new CoD game comes out every year and it's essentially the same game they released last year and people just keep buying it like they put something new in it.
I was watching the retrospectives on Gametrailers, and the Ultima retrospective on Spoony's website and I found them really enjoyable. I love watching them explain each game in a franchise and watching how the games evolved with each installment. So I was wondering if any other sights do this?
