Yeah its annoying when people do that.

I thought about it a little bit maybe the ability to lock only the related pages sections would solve the problem, because if someone is going to mess with the article before the game comes out its usually to add information from interviews so there is less chances that someone would add false or unannonuced information there for some free wiki points.

Eh, people gaming the system always irritated me. I can somewhat see boosting for gamerscore, but who gives a shit how many wiki points you have? You haven't done anything meaningful by spamming a page with a bunch of pictures. It only shows that you know how to play fetch. 

I've seen this happen numerous times and it's really annoyed me too to see such misinformative edits being made to the wiki.

Should we be citing our sources like Wikipedia?

I don't see the problem. Except for the new powers. I'm sure the developers won't change a whole lot in this game. It got near perfect scores when it came out. Not only that, there was a semi-announcement a long time ago. Sucker Punch said they may be working on it. So Jeff, stop complaining and keep the page up. Pretty simple.

Don't edit wikis until you've learnt even very basic grammar. It is hideous to read, no matter what information is in there. "

That's not necessarily helping much in the long run. I have achieved 1000+ points, so pretty much nobody checks if my edits are based on reliable sources.  ...sorry, Wikipedian coming through. "

The real problem here that nobody wants to talk about is how stupid half of these concepts are in the first place. Artificial intelligence? Explosions? I know it's how the site has operated from the start, but come on. Common sense. If you want to talk about people gaming the system, I'd start there. Because it's a pretty sure bet Infamous 2 isn't going to be a Pong console.
