I find it interesting that they give so much credence to positive individual passion but dismiss Jeff's passionate dislike of Inside out of hand. I don't really see a way to reconcile the two (because putting Inside below the individual favourites at Number 10 also kinda doesn't make sense), it's just an interesting thing to think about - building a collaborative list like this must be incredibly difficult to be a part of.

On another note, it surprises me how often I find myself on Jeff's side of the battle over the Number 1 spot when it comes down to the final two. I'm a huge fan of Jeff & I have a lot of respect for his opinions, but broadly speaking I'm aware our taste in games isn't a close match (He likes fighting games and the current crop of CoD 4 derived competitive multiplayer shooters and I've only fleetingly enjoyed either, for example). But time and again, when it gets to the final two, I almost always find Jeff is on the side I am (Saints Row The Third, Suoer Mario Maker & Hitman being the most prominent examples).

I can't believe people are genuinely acting like Jeff, Brad & Drew screwed up somehow. These games are completely broken in these longer modes. Once you go beyond about halfway, any notion of competitive balance flies out the window. There's too few ways to earn new stars and WAY too many ways to lose or steal existing ones, so steals and shortcuts become massively overpowered. Rendering the mini games - the only part of these packages which could serve as "fun" - increasingly irrelevant as the game goes on. Factor in all the bullshit Coin redistribution and they become entirely irrelevant. Game of skill, my ass.

It's so weird their headsets bugging out like that, with the weird back and forth thing Jeff had (more so in the previous stream). I set mine up today and the headset tracks flawlessly. There's definitely some controller jank, but the headset is fine. Surely there must be something wrong with the hardware? But that begs the question why hasn't Sony tried giving them a known good unit as a replacement to see? Bizarre. It's a real bummer they can't get them working well reliably.

Oh, so that's what this game is? That's...That's a real shame. I never built up any expectations about it because I never really got a handle on what it was supposed to be. A janky throwback to PS2 era action adventure games is not something I can get especially excited about - particularly when there's some thematic overlap with the seemingly much more refined Horizon: Zero Dawn which is not that far off.

Dan's opinion on Epcot is objectively wrong. Epcot is awesome.

I'm so glad they picked this weird ass game whose second sequel I Kickstarted. Despite having never seen much of this game beyond that Quick Look throwback and reading gushing retrospectives in magazines. Remember magazines? ...Man this game came out a long time ago

@joedangerous: that's where I wound up too. The way it shows the run in the ASCII art map at the end of each level is cool, but the art in the gameplay is neither one thing or the other and it's often pretty confusing to look at

God damn, Burnout Paradise was such a good game. I had forgotten. I wish they still made driving games like that, instead of Need for Speed (2015) which is...I don't even know what that thing is.

@stinger061: Jeremy Williams at Tested built that. Google "Tested Pinball VR" & you'll find it - I would link, but iOS is still using the plain text comments

Wow, they weren't kidding about the terrible performance. It's running sub 900p, the scenes aren't particularly busy, there's not a lot of animation or AI to deal with, it's hardly a visual showcase (the art design is fine, but nothing we haven't seen before)...And it still runs like crap. Telltale really need to sort the Telltale Tool engine out. Between this and all the bugs, they are really turning in consistently shoddy work.
