Giant Bomb was unveiled on March 6, 2008 as a blog; the full site launched on July 21st 2008. Thank you for the past 5 years duders.

Like many other people i followed the guys from Gamespot to Giantbomb. I remember the first how to build a bomb episode and i remember saying "OH SHIT ITS JEFF" then the second video came and i was like "OH SHIT ITS RYAN". i was instantly hooked.

Over time the site grew and the community really grew and thankfully for the better. The site really exploded when Brad ,Vinny and "video intern" Drew joined the scene.

Before giantbomb i had not been involved in a gaming website due to the rough community. Gamespot was great back in the day but it also had a rough community but ever since giantbomb started the community has been great.

The past couple of weeks have been rough for all of us and i hope in 5 years time i will write another lackluster blog celebrating the 10th anniversary of giantbomb.
