I cant relate to not wanting to play shooters due to the tragic event recently, but I have been pretty damn bored of shooters this year. I've really gotten into strategy though, maybe check out Stellaris or Warhammer Total War. I've been loving those games. For me, when Im feeling down, the Katamari games are my go to. The two on ps2 run great in emulation too.

Pretty sure they said they were going to put out an expansion.

The netcode is horrible, so until that gets fixed I can't play this thing at all. I really wish I didn't fall for Ubisoft again.

@liquiddragon: I don't think they are doing it to trick people. Kingdom Hearts has shitty names for everything after the first 2. They probably think 2.8 is a great title.

I have purchased every Nintendo console on launch since the gamecube including every handheld variation. The switch seems horrible. 3 hour battery life?! Splatoon and MK8 re-releases?! Buying the virtual console games again for the 14th fucking time!? Paid online for a service that has historically been horrible.

Nintendo really had a good shot by combining all there efforts into one console. The 3DS is a great console. Nintendo is so out of touch it feels like they are still in 1999. Hell, that Donk City portion of the new Mario looks like Sonic Adventure. I swear I could hear the station square adverts in my head when I saw those screenshots.

Very dissappointing, but not for my wallet.

@whitegreyblack: Has he elaborated on his condition at all? Several family members and myself have reactive hypoglycemia, and it has never been that hard to manage. I have to wonder if he has some other conflicting issue making it much worse for him. Although, I have heard that some people experience the symptoms more intensely than others.

Nope, because 120hz is more important to me for games than resolution. I'll wait till we can actually run the games are at 4K with a decent frame rate without needing 4 gpus and $10,000 in cooling equipment.

It does look great, and despite not seeing any movies in person yet, I have to imagine that 4K blu-rays look fantastic. I just can't really justify the price of buying my movies yet again after what seems like just buying all of them on regular blu-ray.

I've been trying hard to tackle my backlog, so good on you for actually doing it. I have so many JRPGs that I could probably stop buying games for a decade and still not be completely through my backlog.

I honestly wasn't sure what was going on those first two days, that is, until the giant coffee urn and pastries came out from the table.

I think the matchmaking is just bad. I frequently get placed on teams with people who play like it's their first time playing the game, and the enemy team is shredding us. It's really frustrating that I can't get my win ratio above ~50%, and most people seem to be saying the same thing.

Hopefully ranked mode will alleviate this.
